Step 2 : Copy and translate content pages
For the time being , our app does not support automatic translation. However, we are working on this feature and it will be available soon. For now, it enables language selection. You can either translate your content manually, or copy and paste your content into a free machine generated translation solution like Google translate or Bing translator, to name a few.
To translate a content page :
> Click « pages » in the top menu of the Weebly editor.
> Click on the page you wish to translate in the left bar of the editor. Duplicate the page by clicking "copy".
> Rename the new page in the language of your choice. The name of the translated page has to be different than the original page.
> Change the text in the new page in the language of your choice.
Ex : If your page’s name is « about us » and you are translating from English to French, you can duplicate the « about us » page, and rename it « À propos ». Then you can edit the text in « À propos » to change it from English to French.
* Note : This section only applies to content pages. If you have a store on your Weebly website, you cannot duplicate the store. We will see how to translate the store in step 4. Each translated page title has to be different than the original.
